Jon Hayden is a real estate attorney who advises lenders and borrowers in large commercial finance transactions involving construction projects across mixed-use, retail, multi-family, office, and industrial properties. Jon drafts and negotiates loan documents, and analyzes legal opinions, joint venture agreements, organizational documents, property surveys, title insurance policies, leases, purchase and sale agreements and related acquisition documents, commercial leases, and ground leases.
Prior to joining the firm, Jon was an associate in the real estate finance group in the Boston office of a mid-size law firm handling commercial finance transactions, including construction and term loans for a variety of asset classes.
Prior to his work on real estate and real estate finance, Jon worked as a litigation attorney where he represented contractors, manufacturers and other businesses in contract and tort actions concerning product defects, injuries, and construction defects. Earlier in his career, Jon was a JAG officer with the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps where he prosecuted felony and misdemeanor level offenses in jury and bench trials, advised military commanders on misconduct investigations and the appropriate responses to soldier misconduct.
