Overview

Matthew Fecteau is an attorney in the firm’s Private Client group. Matthew counsels high net worth individuals and families, fiduciaries, and entrepreneurs on all aspects of estate planning, and estate and trust administration. Matthew guides clients to preserve wealth, protect assets, engage in charitable giving, and minimize estate, gift and generation skipping transfer taxes. He employs sophisticated estate planning strategies to craft wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, power of attorney and health care proxies for clients. Matthew also manages the administration of estates, including probate matters, asset collection and state and federal estate tax returns.

Prior to joining Goulston & Storrs, Matthew was an associate in the trusts and estate planning practices of large, multi-disciplinary law firms. His background also includes working as a paralegal at a family law firm and as a judicial intern, researching and drafting case summaries on administrative issues.
