Biography
Overview
Michele Astor-Pratt is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Group. Located in the firm’s Boston office, Michele supports the firm’s business transactional team across a range of industries and subject matters. She assists with research, due diligence, analysis, contract review, and serves other day-to-day client needs.
Prior to joining the firm, Michele was a seconded attorney with the Audax Group, a private equity fund focused on middle-market companies, where she negotiated NDAs and vendor contracts, helped with annual compliance audits, and assisted with regulatory filings.
Before going to law school, Michele worked as a librarian and information services professional at the National Archives, the Brookings Institution, DARPA, and EBSCO, a leading provider of research databases, e-journals, magazine subscriptions, ebooks, and discovery services for academic libraries. While at Boston College Law School, Michele served as the managing editor of the Boston College Law Review and a research assistant to two professors, assisting with research across various areas of law including treaties, global corporate tax, ethics, and big data to support faculty projects.
