Biography
Overview
Ye-Eun Sung is a corporate attorney in the firm’s Boston office. She works on a range of complex transactional matters, providing critical support to the firm’s senior lawyers on corporate transactions of all kinds.
A summer associate with the firm in 2021, Ye-Eun returns to Goulston & Storrs following her time working as a seconded attorney with the Audax Group, a private equity fund focused on middle market companies. Her work at Audax included drafting and negotiating contracts that ranged from NDAs, employment, lease agreements, and construction agreements. She also assisted the compliance team with its annual reviews. Ye-Eun’s experience includes debt financing, corporate governance, and funds.
While in law school, Ye-Eun was a legal extern with a biotech company, supporting the General Counsel with creating firm-wide training materials, summarizing complex manufacturing agreements for company executives, and assisting with matters related to corporate governance. She also served as a legal intern with Boston College Law School’s Innocence Program. In this role, she researched structural error and racial bias and discrimination case law while also writing memoranda to support the organization’s clients in appeals and motions for post-conviction relief.
