Goulston & Storrs, an Am Law 200 firm, is pleased to announce attorneys Jason Dunn, Zev Gewurz, Robert Mack, and Leah Segal have been recognized as Thomson Reuters’ 2023 “Stand-out Lawyers.”

Jason Dunn is a Director in the firm’s Real Estate Group and Co-Chair of the International Investors Group. His practice encompasses all aspects of commercial real assets, with a focus on representing domestic and foreign institutional clients in equity and debt investments in North American real estate and infrastructure through funds, co-investments, joint ventures, and REITs. He received his J.D., summa cum laude, from Boston College Law School and his A.B., magna cum laude, from Lafayette College.

Zev Gewurz is a Director and Co-Chair of the firm's Real Estate Group and International Investors Group. He represents institutional and private equity lenders, foreign and U.S.-based investors, as well as owners and real estate developers across the U.S. and abroad on portfolio acquisitions and dispositions, joint venture structuring, complex financings, mezzanine and participating debt transactions, and distressed debt workouts and sales. Gewurz received his J.D. from New York University School of Law, his M.Sc., with distinction, from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and his B.A., summa cum laude, from McGill University.

Robert Mack is a Director in the firm’s Real Estate Group, where he brings more than 30 years of sophisticated real estate industry experience to his representation of investment funds, institutions, REITs, and developers. He counsels clients in connection with commercial real estate financings (including construction, permanent, securitized/CMBS, and mezzanine loans) as well as acquisitions and dispositions, and leasing and management matters. He earned his J.D. from Boston University School of Law and his B.A., magna cum laude, from Bowdoin College.

Leah Segal is an attorney in the firm’s Tax Group, where she advises clients on the tax aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including joint ventures, acquisitions and dispositions, and tax credit deals. Her clients include privately held and publicly traded companies, family office investors, REITs, and REMICs. She is also experienced representing charitable and other tax-exempt organizations in obtaining and maintaining tax-exempt status, as well as navigating ongoing governance and compliance issues. She received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Boston University School of Law and her A.B., magna cum laude, from Brown University.
