Goulston & Storrs Adds Five Attorneys to Expand its New York Litigation Practice

April 2, 2018Press Releases

Goulston & Storrs is pleased to announce the addition of a five-attorney team to the firm’s New York office in the Lipstick Building at 885 Third Avenue. Goulston is strategically expanding its litigation capacity with the addition as Directors of Joel Miller, Martin Edel, Charles R. Jacob III, Adam Safer, and Nicholas Cutaia, all formerly of the highly-regarded litigation boutique Miller & Wrubel P.C.

Recognized as some of the leading commercial litigators in New York, these veteran attorneys bring a deliberate approach to their representation of law firms, financial institutions, mortgage servicers, hedge and other funds, asset managers, and real estate investors. Miller & Wrubel’s expertise in complex commercial litigation also extends to representing both companies and individuals in matters involving the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Department of Justice, and FINRA at both trial and appellate levels.

“This group of litigators will play both an immediate and strategic role in meeting the demands of our expanding litigation department,” said Barry D. Green, Co-Managing Director of Goulston & Storrs. “They have extensive trial and arbitration experience and have tried numerous cases in court and arbitration. They bring an incredible level of experience that will benefit our clients and complement the work of our existing team.”

Marty Edel commented, “Over the years, we have declined multiple invitations to join our sophisticated practice with larger firms because we have been waiting for the right fit. We’ve found that fit in Goulston & Storrs where we will continue to provide high-quality litigation to our clients.”
